The Norwegian chain deli\convenience store Deli de Luca just opened up its first location in downtown a few weeks ago to much fanfare. I went there for the first time on Tuesday and have been there every day since. I really like this place because it offers an array of freshly made sandwiches, salads, sushi, smoothies and sweet baked treats like cinnamon rolls. FRESH is the key word here. I also
like love that they only sell Idsøe brand hot dogs and sausages (which on a side bar means that the store also doesn’t have that overwhelming and oh-so-nasty convenience store smell of artificial flavorings and animal odds and ends mixed with minty freshness-SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!).
