350 ml (1 ½ cups) freshly squeezed lemon juice (no seeds)
To make simple syrup, combine the sugar and 250 ml/1 cup of the water in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
In a pitcher, stir together chilled simple syrup, lemon juice and remaining water.
Serve and enjoy!
