Vanilla Lavender Sugar

Vanilla lavender sugar is variation of vanilla sugar. Simply add a tablespoon of lavender and 3-5 drops of 100% pure lavender essential oil to the vanilla sugar mixture and stir.

Vanilla Lavender Sugar
Ingredients
225 g (1 cup) sugar
2 vanilla bean pods, cut in half

1 tablespoon lavender
3-5 drops of 100% pure lavender essential oil

Directions
1 Place all ingredients in a clean air tight jar and screw on the lid. Give the mixture a good shake.

2 Let your sugar mixture sit in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks before using. Your sugar will have a nice vanilla lavender aroma.

3 The sugar is used in sweet and savory dishes alike but most often in baked goods and beverages. Use is as a substitute in lemonade for a nice twist or in apple based dishes.
