Lamb Burgers with Sriracha Mayonnaise and Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients
  • Lamb Burgers
  • 500g (ca. 1 pound) minced lamb
  • 1 white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic clove, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil (sunflower, vegetable or rapeseed)
  • Sriracha Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
  • Broccoli Slaw
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 large bunch broccoli
  • 3 medium carrots, peeled and grated
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Lamb Burgers
  2. Add of the ingredients except the oil to a medium sized mixing bowl.
  3. Using a large spoon, or your hands, combine the mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Form parcels of the meat mixture into meatballs, then flatten into the shape of a burger with the palm of your hands. Set aside.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan set to medium-high and cook the burgers on both sides until done.
  6. Served topped with Sriracha mayo, or your favorite topping.
  7. Sriracha Mayonnaise
  8. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  9. Serve on your favorite lamb burger or anywhere you would use plain mayonnaise
  10. Broccoli Slaw
  11. Combine the mayonnaise and vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside.
  12. Cut off broccoli florets and save for another dish. Using a vegetable peeler, peel the stalks, and then grate in a food processor or by hand.
  13. Combine broccoli, carrots and dressing in a large bowl and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  14. Serve and enjoy!
