Instagram is the shizzzzz. No seriously – I like, totally love it -OK? OMG – where do I begin. I’m sure you guys are already following me on Instagram (right?) so you know how much I loveeeee it. Here is my list of the top ten Instgrammers from Norway you need to follow.

NRK Mat

Full of recipes and a nod to Norwegian food culture, this Instagram channel from NRK makes good use of yummy photos.

Anne Lindmo

One of the most stylish women in Norway, I simply LOVE Lindmo’s Instagram channel for proving that fabulous-ness is as simple as having a sense of humor and having a great smile. Lindmo has been a television presenter for NRK since 1994.

Trine Sandberg from Trine’s Matbloggen

A former lawyer, Trine is one of the most popular and successful food bloggers in Norway. After you see her food photos and recipes, you’ll see why. Loads of Norwegian comfort food and dishes from all over the world.

Anne Cathrine from Nestaaendemat

Anne Cathrine is a graphic designer and food blogger living in Southern Norway. Her Instagram account is chalked full of images from her kitchen and everyday life.

Økouka i Oslo

If you love the organic food movement or want to follow what is gong on here in Norway in terms of organic, short travelled, whole foods, this is definitely an Instagrammer to follow. Great food styling.

Christian Kamhaug

Christian isn’t a food blogger but I’ve been following him almost as long as I’ve been on Instagram. He’s super funny and cheerful – plus he seems to have an affinity for all things Texan (not that I care about that being from Arizona, but I do love a man who knows how to properly eat BBQ (i.e. with his hands). Here’s Christian doing the ice bucket challenge with his family.

Olav Birkeland from Hobby Kokken

Olav takes some of the best food photography on Instagram in Norway, hands down. I especially love his photos with anything smoky, misty or swirly.

Julie Ilona Balas

This Oslo-based food writer, photographer and food stylist is who I want to be when I grow up. Her approach to food styling is modern, sleek and minimalistic.

Hege Nordlie

Nordlie is from Northern Norway and always pulls me in with her fun, playful and down-to-earth relationship to food blogging.

Coffeeberry

One of my favorite coffee houses in the Stavanger area this place has excellent coffee and a terrific atmosphere. This place is run by coffee aficionados Thomas and Hanne Jørgensen in Sandnes.

Whitney from Thanks For The Food Blog

Not to toot my own horn, but if you aren’t already, add me on Instagram. I tend to show a lot of my everyday life on Instagram including my amazing pink swimming hat and flute players I meet on my trips all over Norway.

So who do you follow on Instagram? Any Norwegians I missed? Let us know in the comments down below.
