So lemme tell you a bit more about my days in Crouch End last month.  As we found ourselves in this charming pub called The Kings Head, I realized – this wasn’t just an ordinary pub. With great food options for vegetarians and meat eaters, a range of ales on tap as well as a reputation for being a swanky comedy venue, this place could serve as your “local”, a date night place (and lemme tell you-there were several dates going on there from the looks of it) or a place you pop into when you’re craving a decent pub meal. Highly recommended if you are in the area, also recommended if you aren’t but attending one of their comedy shows is more likely to make the trip more worth your while.

The King’s Head
Little touches like fresh flowers on the tables makes pubs cozy & way better than chillaxing in bars.
Juicy burger, toasted bun, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce and just enough mayo made this sucker a cinch to enjoy (Whoop whoop-look at that toasted bun! Someone was obviously paying attention in burger school!). Like I always say, two things every pub menu should have and be great at-a burger and fish & chips.
Not the best chips, but the fish more than made up for them. Crispy, well seasoned and served with homemade tarter sauce. The mushy peas were tasty as well-mashed more than mushy with a slight touch of mint.
Leaving the pub after dinner-satisfied, properly chilled out and ready to stroll.
