Grow Your Own Green Onions

May 27, 2014 By Whitney Love Leave a Comment

growing green onions

Stop buying green onions every time you need them! Those puppies can be expensive in the supermarket and you can grow your own easily at home. And with little effort. Seriously, this little trick is going to blow your mind.

To grow you own green onions, all  you need to do is cut the tops off a bunch of green onions you’ve bought from the store, and place them in a glass container filled with a bit of water. Then, place the container in a  sunny place and watch your onions grow. Change the water when it starts to smell funny or get cloudy, which will be every 3-4 days.

You’ll never (ever) have to buy green onions again!
