TFTF Has Been Selected for the Our Amazing Norway Publication

Congrats to Thanks for the Food! We’ve been selected as an addition to the new magazine “Our Amazing Norway”!
Our Amazing Norway is a free magazine that is continually distributed throughout the calendar year. It provides expats with everything they need to know about living in Norway and making it a true home, including extensive information about the country’s most interesting cities, Norwegian news, local cuisine, socializing and making Norwegian friends. Also, it includes information about a multitude of local businesses, restaurants and beautiful photos. The publication is offered in both English and Lithuanian.

    Thanks a lot for the compliment and thanks for mentioning me in the magazine.

    It’s not that hard to save money in Norway on food but you do have to think about it a bit since Norway does not normally have coupons/vouchers or mega sales on food very often which is common in the U.S. and U.K.

    My main tips to anyone looking to save money on their grocery bill in Norway is to not compare the prices to anywhere else in the world, reduce one’s use of convenience items, shop in “ethnic” grocery stores for various items and use your freezer to help you take advantage of sales from places like Coop, Meny and Ultra.
